NYCC is here!

It's time for the New York Comic Con! Artists Alley is in the North Pavilion, and I'll be set up at table G7. Come on by, support your favorite artists, and - bonus - this pavilion is FAR more spacious and less congested than the main floor.

I'll also be doing panels for the always-innovative-but-still-gentlemanly Buddy Scalera and his Comic Book School, as well as signing at the Marvel booth. Here's the schedule:

Writing and Penciling: Storytelling
Fri. October 10 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM  1B03

Learn how to structure a complete issue from beginning to end. Pace, Panel breakdown and story arc discussed by Professional Writers who work for mainstream publishers like Marvel, DC and more. Support by Darren Sanchez. Hosted by Buddy Scalera of Comic Book School. Creators will use Copic Markers for this Panel.

To add to the fun, COPIC Markers will be the official sponsor for the Comic Book School panels. That means they will be providing some lush, beautiful writing instruments to make this more colorful.

Plotting to Pencils: From Script to Page
Fri. October 10 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM 1B03

See how real professional Artists break down a script and thumbnail a page. Actual working pros show you how they determine the layout, the story flow and specific panels from a real comic book script. Creators will use Copic Markers for this panel.

Marvel 75th Anniversary Signing will take place on Friday at the Galleria (Javits 4th Floor) at 4-5:30pm

And I'll be signing at the Marvel booth on Sunday at 2 PM

See you there!
